Hello! My name is Amanda Lee and I have been an SI for BIOL 1500 for five semesters. I am a Neuroscience major with hopes of becoming a professor and having my own lab one day. I became an SIL because I have always loved teaching and it has helped me solidify my knowledge and look at the subject in new ways. I am on the E-board for Florida on Film and love taking film photos. I also love spending time outdoors.
My name is Hansi Parmar, and I am an SI for BIOL 1500. I am a Biology major on the pre-med track. I chose SI because I have always enjoyed teaching challenging topics and helping peers understand them in creative ways. Whether with friends or classmates, I love simplifying complex concepts down to their roots so that others are able to grasp the overall topic, rather than fall into the cycle of giving up. One fun fact about myself is that I love reading; I cannot go a single day without absorbing myself in a book! Other passions I have are singing and gaming.
Hi! My name is Megan, and I am a Supplemental Instructor for BIO1500. I am a Neuroscience major, Spanish minor, and I am part of the dual admission Physician’s Assistant program at NSU. I became an SI because I enjoy studying with people and taking on leadership roles. Outside of SI, I am in NSU’s Spanish club, and I am the Vice President of Equity and Belonging for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Two fun facts about me are that I love running and my favorite animal is the highland cow!
Hello my name is Devaj surya Koralla, I am the SI leader for BIOL1500. I am a biology major and neuroscience minor in the dual DO program. I chose to be an SI leader to be able to share my study methods when learning anatomy. I am part of clubs such as VAW, NSwithU, Fins United, Physician to Patient. A fun fact about myself is that I love to play instruments such as the piano and guitar as well as playing sports like football and basketball.
My name is Jane Krivosheev, and my SI subject is Bio 1! I am a Biology major in the Dual PA program. I chose SI because I have always loved helping friends in stem subjects when they were having a tough time, and SI gave me the perfect opportunity to do just that. Last semester, I participated in two musicals and was part of the hockey club. I am also a member of Shark Talent and will be reviving a cappella at NSU this semester. Some fun facts about me are that I am a figure skating coach, and I sell hand-made jewelry!
My name is Lidhu Arakkal and I am the SI for Dr. Blanars Bio II class. I am a sophomore biology major in the DO program. I chose to become an SI because I enjoy helping and passing on knowledge to others. I also enjoy spending my time outdoors hiking and backpacking when I can!
I’m Nicole Llanes and SI for BIOL 3320 Anatomy 1. I’m currently a biology major with minors in public health and nutrition. I’m also a dual admission student in the DO program. I decided to join SI because it truly helped me during my freshman year, and I’d love to help as many students as I can as well. A few fun facts about myself are that I love to go to places and try new foods and I have three dogs (2 Chihuahuas and a border collie) that I absolutely adore.

I am majoring in Biology and Public Health, with minors in Human Nutrition and Pre-Health; I am on the pre-med track in the Dual Admission BS/DO program as well. I decided to join the SI team because I felt compelled to help students the same way SI has helped me over the past three years; being able to improve my own skills is a plus too. A few fun facts about me are I was born in New Jersey, and I am a massive Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan!
My name is Tess Friedman, and I will be the SI leader for Anatomy and Physiology I. I am a nursing pathway major, and I chose SI because it was a useful tool to me when I took this course. I am excited to be an SI leader so I can facilitate learning and make this course a positive experience for the students! I am currently involved in Chabad on campus. One fun fact about me is that I have my motorcycle license, and I did a 1700-mile motorcycle trip through Chile and Argentina!
Hi everyone! My name is Thomas George, and I am a senior pursuing a Biology Major and Psychology Minor on the Pre-Dental track. Currently, I serve as a supplemental instructor (SI) for Anatomy 2. I chose SI since I want to guide and mentor students through their difficult courses like Anatomy while providing them with helpful study habits. I am excited to make connections with students and other SI leaders while helping students succeed. I found great success when attending SI sessions while in difficult courses of my own which has motivated me to extend this same level of support to other students since I was once in their shoes. Aside from SI, I am a member of Volunteers Around the World (VAW) and the pre-dental society. A fun fact about me is that I love to ski and workout.
My name is Eliana Gitelman, and I am a Junior at NSU. I am a Human Nutrition major, minoring in Biology, Pre-Health, and Public Health. I am currently in the dual degree PA program and am the SI this semester for Anatomy and Physiology 2. I chose SI because when I was taking this difficult course, I learned many tips and tricks that helped me succeed that I hope to share with others and help them succeed. Some clubs I am a part of is Hillel, PHJS, Women in Surgery, Sharks for Israel, and Manual Dexterity. A fun fact about me is that Russian was my first language, and I was a competitive ballroom dancer for 10 years.
