The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team is responsible for managing and maintaining the technology that supports Nova Southeastern University's human resources functions. We ensure the secure and confidential handling of employee data while providing accurate reporting and analysis to support the University's mission and goals. Our focus is on streamlining HR processes and maximizing data accuracy and reliability.
Key Systems We Manage:
- NSU Careers: This platform handles all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from position descriptions and job postings to recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
- Equifax: We utilize Equifax for electronic I-9 processing for new hires and rehires, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Banner: Banner serves as the University's core HR data system of record, including Faculty Load & Compensation (FLAC) management.
- EPAFs/Workflows: Facilitates various HR processes, including job location updates, personnel updates, special payments (e.g., staff overloads), student hires, supervisor updates, and terminations.
