Welcome to the SOuRCe!
The Student Organization Resource Center (SOuRCe) is the center for providing all of the Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) with support and resources to succeed here at NSU. We also connect students with organizations that they may be interested in joining and we give students the opportunity to create organizations and start something of their own.
We are here to help you “Make NSU yours!”
With over 100 Registered Student Organizations on-campus, there are many options that you can chose from.
Organizations range from the following categories:
Check out all of the organizations by logging onto SharkHub!
Looking to start a new student organization on-campus? Are you interested in a hobby, passion, or subject that is not seen presently in one of our current organizations? Then you can submit an application to start a new organizations. We accept submissions each semester. Undergraduate Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) may be organized to promote any legal purpose, which involves an educational, recreational, or social interest.
INSTRUCTION PROCESS
Registered Student Organizations can submit a request through SharkHub for various equipment. In order to reserve the popcorn, snow cone, cotton candy machines, and regular board/card games, the request must be done at least 10 business days in advance.
Registered student organizations in good standing with the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement are eligible to reserve a locker in the Rosenthal Student Center. The lockers can be used to store your organization needs. All organizations must follow the terms and conditions and only one key will be given to the organization. The key must be returned towards the end of the Winter term of the academic year.
