April 2, 2024 - The Institute of International Education (IIE) opens this year's Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant competition for study abroad. Interested students are encouraged to review program information details and begin the process as soon as possible at https://us.fulbrightonline.org/applicants/getting-started
April 16, 2024 - Students are to initiate the collection of all supporting documents.
September 13, 2024 - NSU Campus Deadline. All applications must be COMPLETED in the Fulbright application database and submitted to the University electronically by PM (Eastern Time). No new registrations or applications will be accepted after this date.
September 16-17, 2024 - Online applications will be distributed to Campus Screening Committee in preparation for your interview.
September 23-24, 2024 - Interview period. You will be contacted and scheduled for an interview with one or more of the Campus Screening Committee. You must be interviewed by the Nova Southeastern Campus Screening Committee during this time. Your application will be rated on the following criteria: academic qualifications, validity and feasibility of your proposed project, foreign language proficiency, evidence of adaptability and motivation, and foreign experience. Expect to revise your application in accordance with the suggestions of the Committee. Also, please bring to your interview your own copy of your application. After your interview date, your application will be made editable again in the Fulbright system.
September 30, 2024 - Feedback for revisions will be sent via email to you by the end of the work day.
October 4, 2024 - Your final revised online application must be completed in the Fulbright system.
October 6, 2024 - Recommended students' applications/materials will be sent via the Fulbright system. Only recommended and completed applications with supporting documents will be sent to the IIE.
October 11, 2024 - The IIE's deadline for receipt of application.
