Dear HPD Students and Faculty, the following is the basic schedule for HPD Research Day along with suggestions on getting the most from the day. Students will watch presentations in the auditorium they usually occupy during that time of day. Regional campuses will produce their own presentations--only one auditorium from the Ft. Lauderdale campus will be videoconferenced to the regional campuses.
Attendance is mandatory, with some special considerations made by each college. Please be sure to follow the attendance requirements for your college.
The program book will be available online when all the presenters have been selected and the schedule of presentations is set. The program book contains abstracts of each presentation. Each auditorium will also receive a Barnes and Noble gift card as a door prize. Every student will receive a raffle ticket for the drawing for door prizes. The drawing will take place at the end of the day. Students must be present to win.
Lunch breaks will be at their usual times. Students, faculty, and staff will be responsible for their own lunch arrangements.
