N
ova Southeastern University has a full-time
faculty, as well as a large, well-qualified,
and dedicated group of adjunct professors to
carry out its educational mission. In addition, other
academically qualified university employees working on
overload contracts supplement the full-time faculty.
Since 2007, the noninstructional staff increased 14
percent, and the number of full-time faculty increased
by 31 percent (Table 15). Between 2007 and 2011,
the ratio of FTE students to the total of full-time
faculty, administration, and staff members has decreased
from approximately eight to one to seven to one.
