Mail Services typically receives one to two deliveries of USPS, FedEx, UPS and DHL mail/packages daily. Amazon delivers multiple times per day. All incoming mail, whether standard, First-Class, or small parcels, is typically processed within 24 hours- barring extreme volumes. Please note, mail is not processed on weekends and University holidays.
Students will receive an e-mail notification to their NSU e-mail address when mail is ready for pick-up at the Packaged Locker System. The e-mail notification received will list the sender as USPS LETTER MAIL.
Mailboxes and Mailbox keys are not issued with the Packaged Locker System. The students e-mail notification will contain a one-time use code that is needed to retrieve your mail.

At Mako, The Commons, Leo Goodwin and Rolling Hills residence halls, we use a state of the art smart locker system to deliver both packages and student mail. The package locker system is an easy and convenient way to pick up your mail and packages, anytime, 24/7!

Amazon Hub Lockers are operated by Amazon and not to be confused with the Smart Packaged Locker Systems located in Mako Hall, The Commons, Leo Goodwin and Rolling Hills. The Smart Packaged Locker System located in Mako Hall, The Commons, Leo Goodwin and Rolling Hills are operated by NSU Mail Services.

Mail Forwarding:
All residential students should fill out and submit the mail forwarding form prior to leaving on-campus housing. The forwarding address provided is effective upon submission and will expire in 30 days. Mail Services will only forward Letter Mail. Packages will be returned to sender unless student provides a pre-paid label.
NOTE: Changing your forwarding address with Mail Services does NOT change your address with the Registrar's Office, Human Resources or any other department at Nova Southeastern University.

Students have 72 hours to pick up mail and packages from the lockers. After the deadline, packages are placed back in the main mail room. Every effort will be made to contact the student with information on how to retrieve their package(s) through their @mynsu.nova.edu email address and/or phone number (if available). If after 14 days of initial notification date, the student does not claim their package(s), or made special alternative arrangements with mail services management to retrieve your package(s), they will be assumed abandoned and discarded or returned to sender (if applicable).
Shipping Packages Before Move-In: Beginning July 8, 2024, students may ship items to campus. You may ship a total of six (6) boxes in advance of move-in, to be delivered and/or picked up upon arrival.
Shipping Packages Before Move-In DOES NOT APPLY to students living at University Pointe Apartments.
Please note: Mail Services will place large/oversized packages into the student’s room prior to move-in (refrigerators, linen boxes, etc.). To utilize this free service, please ensure all items are delivered no later than Monday, July 29, 2024. If you receive an oversized package after the deadline, you will receive an email notification with instructions to pick-up from the Commons package room, #115. You will only need to visit the package room if you receive an oversized item that does not fit into one of the lockers. All other items that meet the size requirement will be placed in a package locker.

Pre-Move-In Packages Delivered to Student Rooms:
Please be aware that students do not receive e-mail notification of packages that have been shipped prior to move-in that are to be delivered directly to the student room prior to move-in. If you receive confirmation from a mail carrier that packages have arrived, and wish to confirm that mail services has received these packages, please e-mail mailservices@nova.edu and provide your student name and tracking information.
