Parade of Flags

This is a celebration of different countries around the world! Come and support your nation by marching in IEW's Opening Ceremony Parade! This event is an International Education Week tradition.

Immigration Law Informational: Pro Bono Advice

"Smiles for Refugees" Fundraiser & Info Session

An information panel and presentation to discuss and bring awareness to the current refugee crisis occurring in the world, specifically focusing on the crisis occurring in Kenya and the Sudan.  At the end, we would open up the discussion to the audience and encourage them to share their perspectives, opinions, and ways they think this global issue can be solved. During the event a fundraiser will also be advertised to raise funds to purchase and make dental kits for the refugees in the countries mentioned above. Food may be provided as well.

International Students & Mental Health: We Are Here to Help!

This event is led by expert faculty of NSU's Counseling Department. Join us for a presentation, discussion, and bonding event where the unique mental health challenges that international students face will be address. This conversation surrounding homesickness, cultural shock, navigating the immigration system, and more should not be missed!

Chinese Calligraphy Lessons

Dr. Ying Ma, Assistant Professor Literature and Chinese, in the Department of Humanities and Politics will lead a workshop for any interested students, regardless of major, on Chinese calligraphy.
