Irving “Irv” Rosenbaum, D.P.A., Ed.D is Vice President of Operations for the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Health Professions Division (HPD).
Dr. Rosenbaum has held several roles at NSU since he joined the university in 1976, including interim dean of the College of Medical Sciences, assistant vice chancellor for professional affairs for HPD, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and as a faculty member.
Prior to joining NSU, Dr. Rosenbaum spent nearly a quarter century in city management serving as City Manager of Hollywood, Florida, Town Administrator of Davie, Florida, and various roles in New York City government. He also served as a director of Regent Bank from 1986 to 2016.
Dr. Rosenbaum's public service activities include serving as Chair of the Broward County Higher Education Facilities Authority and a member of the State of Florida Public Service Commission Nominating Council and the Broward County Charter Review Commission.
Dr. Rosenbaum has served on boards of directors for organizations including Palmetto General Hospital, Women in Distress and the Soref Jewish Community Center. He is active in the American Diabetes Association on a local and national level. He was the 2012 recipient of the NSU HPD Distinguished Service Award.
Dr. Rosenbaum earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his master's degree in public administration from Bernard Baruch College, City University of New York. He holds a Doctor of Public Administration degree and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education, both from NSU.
Jeremy Katzman, M.B.A., APR, is Director of Business Development for Nova Southeastern University's Health Professions Division. He manages the budget, human resources, and other operations for the organization and oversees a multi-disciplinary group focused on university-wide strategic business development initiatives.
With nearly two decades of experience in communications and marketing, business development and leadership, Katzman specializes in finding innovative solutions to advance strategic business priorities. He joined NSU in 2013 and has held several roles in the organization, including Director of Public Relations and Marketing on the founding team that established the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine and leading communications for the health and research areas of the university.
Katzman is an elected City Commissioner in Cooper City, Florida and is involved in a variety of civic and professional organizations. He serves on the Boards of Leadership Broward Foundation and Broward County League of Cities and has held leadership roles with Florida’s Children First, the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County, and Public Relations Society of America (past District Chair).
Katzman has received numerous awards, including South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, South Florida Business and Wealth's Excellence in Health Care Rising Stars Award, and Communicator of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter.
Katzman is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Universal Accreditation Board. He earned his M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University and holds a B.A. in public relations and a B.S. in political science from the University of Florida (UF). He is a member of the UF Hall of Fame and Florida Blue Key.
