Community Highlights
- NSU Health's clinics provide medical, dental, optometric, physical therapy, and psychological care to thousands of South Florida residents.
- NSU brings cultural enrichment to the community through the NSU Art Museum | Fort
Lauderdale; the Miniaci Performing Arts Center; the Don Taft University Center; public
access to the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center;
and academic programs in the performing and visual arts.
- The College of Dental Medicine and the College of Optometry have collaborated with
Kids In Distress to provide foster children with dental and eye care services.
- The Children and Families Law Clinic at the Shepard Broad College of Law provides law students with the opportunity to assist individuals who cannot afford counsel.
