Dr. Wu has a PhD in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. He has over 15 years of experience in health services research, using large healthcare data to assess medication prescribing patterns and adherence, healthcare utilization and costs, and the quality of health care.
Statistical Interests:
My primary interest lies in the application of advanced biostatistical methods to large-scale longitudinal datasets (Claims and EHR) and national survey data to examine the impact of policy change or interventions on the quality of healthcare delivery and how medication use patterns influence clinical outcomes, healthcare utilization, and costs.
Statistical Methods:
Generalized linear models for skewed cost data, longitudinal and panel data analysis (repeated measures and Fixed/Random Effects models), propensity score matching, survival and time-to-event analysis, weighted analysis for complex survey design.
