Dr. Sainfort is the Chair of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), as well as Professor and Director of the Healthcare Management program. He is also a Professor of Population Health Sciences in the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine at NSU. Dr. Sainfort is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Dr. Sainfort’s background is in operations research, data science, judgment and decision making, and decision theory. He has developed, implemented, and tested clinical decision support systems using Bayesian decision theory, Bayesian networks, and artificial intelligence.
Statistical Interests:
Statistical Inference and Consulting, Including Multivariate Analysis, Bayesian Statistics, Decision Theory, and Meta-analysis.
Statistical Methods:
Bayesian statistics, classification techniques, logistic regression, principal components analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis.
