Formed by Susie and Alan B. Levan in 2011, the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board comprises professionals who have a passion for learning, innovation, and research.

This prestigious, philanthropic group was brought together to increase the global awareness and scope of Nova Southeastern University as a pillar in higher education and research.

These ambassadors assist in the academic and professional success of the school’s students, faculty, and community by establishing connections with community leaders.

Membership is by invitation only for those who are passionate about strengthening South Florida through education, economic development, health care, and civic service. Through their service, members can strengthen the community and shape a young university with a powerful vision.

NSU Awareness Initiative

The Mission of the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is to enlist widespread and active community support for the University’s development efforts, promote NSU programs, and be the University’s ambassadors to our communities and constituencies. Ambassadors board members promote awareness and engagement among community leaders to establish positive impressions and relations. This initiative helps connect NSU with its community and leaders to continue to raise funds and support the University’s mission.

Special Projects Fund

Give to the Special Projects Fund and it will be used to provide for NSU special projects or needs identified and approved by the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board Executive Committee. Projects or needs can include equipment for a college, scholarships for students, and more.

Established in 2011, the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is a select group of C-Suite business professionals, and other dedicated leaders aligned with Nova Southeastern University who are charged with a passion to support the University’s leadership efforts and positively impact business, education, health care, civic service, and the quality of life in our region.

The NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is a premier individual and corporate development organization for Nova Southeastern University primarily focused on recruiting new members and enrolling members for the Nova Southeastern University Fellows Society. The Ambassadors Board is also an excellent resource pool for future NSU fellows, trustees, and leaders for various NSU initiatives.

Our mission is to enlist widespread and active support for the University’s development efforts, promote NSU programs, and be the University’s ambassadors to our communities and constituencies. We welcome the leader who is passionate about strengthening South Florida through education, economic development, health care, and civic service. We seek the leader who understands the privilege of being involved. This is an opportunity to work with a university renowned for having the precious resources of talent, knowledge, commitment, flexibility, and entrepreneurship. A member is a person who rises to the challenge and responsibility to strengthen the community and shape a young university that has a president with a powerful vision.
Membership to the NSU Levan Ambassadors Board is by invitation only. Current members sponsor prospective NSU Levan Ambassadors Board members. Criteria for membership include C-Suite executives, partners in professional organizations, and successful entrepreneurs, all who are active community leaders. Annual membership dues help defray the cost of monthly activities.
