Summer at the Alvin Sherman Library kicked-off June 8th at our Rockin' Summer Reading Beach Party. Now that summer is in full swing, we hope you will take advantage of all the great summer programming available to kids, teens and adults. Get up and dance with master storyteller/dancer/librarian Lucrece Louisdhon-Louinis of the Louines Louinis Haitian Dance Theatre. Children will learn traditional stories, games, and dances from the Caribbean in this interactive, high energy program.

Only the GSBC Computer User Group will meet during the summer. There will be no board meeting or program. The Sherman Library Lab A (second floor) will be available for members and guests to further their ancestry research. Presented by volunteers from the GSBC. Society members will be available to answer questions.
The Genealogical Society of Broward County meets monthly at the NSU Alvin Sherman Library on the first Sunday of every month. Meetings begin with an open lab from noon to 2 PM. The open lab is followed by a board meeting and program. Meetings are open to the public.
