Graduate assistants are an integral piece to the overall fabric of Nova Southeastern University. Joining an assistantship is a strategic move that empowers your academic and professional trajectory. Valuable tuition and housing reductions and financial stipends are offered to graduate assistants.
Contributions and amounts vary depending on course loads and other qualifying factors, but there are two Graduate Assistant packages available within the Division of Student Affairs and the College of Undergraduate Studies:

All graduate assistants have the opportunity to live in the University Pointe Apartments in a single studio unit. Laundry facilities inside the residential hall, resort style pool, and amazing views of the surrounding Grande Oaks Golf Club.

* Amounts may differ due to curriculum changes or course loads. Students are responsible for paying any applicable fees including but not limited to health insurance, international student taxes, housing deposit, and student activity fees. All students should contact their respective Financial Aid officer to review costs not covered by Graduate Assistant compensation package.
** The awarded amount may differ due to housing choice.
*** This is the maximum academic-year stipend amount that a graduate assistant may receive, which is calculated on an annual basis (26 pay periods). The stipend will be prorated for active employment status. Student will not be eligible to receive a paycheck during the gap time in employment such as when away at practicum sites, any other extenuating circumstances, and/or graduation.
