9 Y CLINICS NSU Henderson Student Counseling Services Contact 3538 South University Drive Davie, Florida 33328-2003 Hotline: (954) 424-6911 or (954) 262-7050 (Available 24 hours, 7 days a week) Fax: (954) 424-6915 The Henderson Student Counseling Center offers services that cover a wide variety of issues, including academic concerns and career devel- opment, relationship challenges, anxiety, substance abuse, depression, goal setting, and any other problems a student may face. The office is staffed with licensed mental health professionals, including a psychol- ogist and psychiatrist. Henderson is accredited at the highest level to provide student counseling services by the Commission on the Accredi- tation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Services Offered n individual counseling n couples counseling n family counseling n psychiatric services Payment Part-time and full-time students can participate in up to 10 sessions per year, from the date of the first appointment. Counseling sessions are available at no cost. If seeing the psychiatrist, students are charged a nominal fee. Aetna and various other insurance companies are also accepted.
