VIEWPOINT n 5 Linda Kranz’s book Only One You focuses on the uniqueness of each person, the love shared between parents and children, and the importance of sharing wisdom between generations. Lower School teachers brought the book’s concepts to life during the first week of school when they encouraged students to paint rocks to look like fish by using line designs and shapes. Reading teachers then had students bring their creations outside and place their “rock fish” into a river of blue in front of the Lower School building. Faculty and staff mem- bers enjoyed participat- ing in this creative project as well! River of Rock Fish
