NSU University School Viewpoint Fall/Winter 2017

VIEWPOINT n 1 It’s hard to believe that we are already midway through the 2017–18 school year. I could not be prouder of our students and faculty members for their commitment, enthusiasm, tenacity, and spirit. The positive energy on campus is palpable. I would like to take a moment to mention some of our recent accomplish- ments. I am honored to announce a legacy gift made by Elizabeth Brennan, Ed.D., our associate head of academic affairs. She has generously named the Dr. Elizabeth Brennan Center for Academic Success. This is also the pilot year for the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM)/NSU University School Fellowship, a blueprint for more collaborative opportunities between NSU and our amazing students. I would like to thank our featured alumni and those who submitted class notes for the magazine. We appreciate the time you have taken to share your impressive stories with us. As a testament to the outstanding work our alumni have accomplished, we are proud to have hosted the inaugural NSU University School Alumni Hall of Fame. We expect another outstanding year for our students as we look forward to continued excellence throughout the second half of our school year. Please enjoy this issue of Viewpoint .
