26 Eric Jackowitz’s band, The Cooties, made their late night television debut on Late Night with Conan O’Brien . The Cooties are a comedy/music trio that plays to sold out crowds in Los Angeles clubs and works closely with comic- music star Reggie Watts (the musical director of The Late Late Show with James Corden ). Lauren’s Kids, a child sexual abuse prevention organization founded by Senator Lauren Book, received two Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards for the production of outstanding awareness videos. 2003 2008 ALUMNI CLASS NOTES Lauren France is a senior vice president at Katz Watson Group, which provides expert fundraising and consulting services to political candidates at all levels of the ballot, political action committees, party committees, and issue advocacy organizations to meet the growing need for support. Her career highlights include serving as the senior fundraiser on the Beto for Texas campaign in 2018, which broke records for the most money raised for a Senate campaign (over $80million). France joined Katz Watson Group in 2007 after graduating from The George Washington University. 2004 Dana Somerstein was recently promoted to partner at Greenspoon Marder LLP. 2006 Brittney (Bell) Difato is as an associate attorney at McGuireWoods LLP, where her work focuses on complex commercial litigation in appellate practice and class- action defense. 2009 In April, Raquelle Newman will began a residency in Family Medicine at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Newman recently earned an M.D. from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Newman earned her bachelor’s degree in health education at the University of Florida. 2010
