If you have contributions, achievements, or announcements that you would like to share, please contact Wynne Avellanet, director of Parent and Alumni Relations, at uschoolalumni@nova.edu Shawn Snyder’s critically acclaimed film, To Dust , which he wrote and directed, has received rave reviews and won the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival’s Audience Award and Best New Narrative Director Award. 1999 Danny Swerdlow was named USchool’s new director of arts. Swerdlow served as associate director of the arts for the last two years and has been a teacher, administrator, and program director for the last 12 years. He had a meaningful career as a USchool student and now looks forward to giving back to his alma mater in this new role. 1997 Jane Marlowe has joined Exitplace as head of transactions. Exitplace advises entrepreneurs and business-builders on divestitures, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions. 1977 Through his company, Vista Worldlink, Josh Liemer launched a high school internship program for USchool students interested in TV production. On their first day, the students shadowed experts while learning about digital media, live productions, on-air/on-camera talent, operations and logistics, engineering, and directing. 2001 (954) 262-4483 ALUMNI CLASS NOTES Ross Auerbach is a registrar for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which will open in late 2019, where he manages art collections and exhibits. His position includes the logistics of moving artwork, documenting each art piece, and preparing art collections for display. Located in Los Angeles, the Academy Museum will be the world’s premier institution dedicated to the art and science of movies. 1998
