You can delete a single word, a sentence, or an entire paragraph using the same icon. 4. REPLACE AND INSERT Click the “Add note to replace text” icon. Highlight the copy you want to replace. Insert the new text in the dialog box. The small caret indicates an insert, which can be opened to view the comment. The comment will also be shown in the comments list. In addition, you can hit any item in the comments list, and it will automatically be outlined on the PDF. This icon should be used instead of using both the insert caret and the strikethrough separately for the same edit. If you are going to replace several different words/ letters/punctuation marks in a paragraph or sentence, it may be easier to just replace the whole paragraph or sentence.
