Return of the Sharks: Student Guidelines

5 Shared Community Responsibility, Accountability & Training By registering for courses in the 2020-2021 academic year, all students are accepting responsibility for maintaining the protocols outlined in this Student Guide, which may need to be updated periodically should conditions change. Please monitor nova.edu/cv19 for the current student guidelines. All faculty, staff, students, and visitors must follow all NSU health and safety policies and guidelines as a condition to access, use, or visit any NSU location, facility, grounds, or public spaces. University leadership is committed to supporting safer and healthy learning, working, and living environments and community members are expected to commit to responsible, personal efforts to reduce the transmission of the coronavirus. It’s important that you familiarize yourself with these guidelines and protocols before you return to campus or any other NSU location or facility. Even if you are an online student, it’s good for you to know how we are making provisions for a safer experience during these unprecedented times. In the event students fail to comply with these guidelines, you will be counseled by your college or by the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs regarding the importance of compliance. Repeated violations may result in immediate revocation of building access privileges and a referral for disciplinary action in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct and Academic Responsibility . nova.edu/cv19 | SharksReturn@nova.edu Return of the Sharks: Student Guidelines As of June 26, 2020 NSU Florida assures our students, faculty, staff, and extended community that both safety and a commitment to our educational, research and service mission is at the center of every decision we make to create policies and protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
