COMMUNITY OUTREACH | $1 MILLION Promoting early literacy is essential for high-need populations. Donor support for our outreach programs can help close the “word gap” to ensure best outcomes for young children. Supporting the development of high-quality, affordable preschools in our community can provide access to developmentally appropriate, safe, nurturing learning environments for children. Funding for academics and research is needed to prepare our educators and professionals in their fields to provide best-practices and high-quality services. Opportunities include: • Early literacy outreach programs • Develop high-quality, affordable preschools • Professional development for future educators and therapists EARLY LEARNING | $1 MILLION Our programs promote early language and overall social, emotional, motor, and cognitive skill acquisition. Support for scholarships can enable students who struggle in school settings to participate in intensive programming in specialized classrooms, while offering opportunities to children who would otherwise not have access to our early-learning programs. Parenting under stress may result in child abuse and inappropriate discipline. Our Parent Coaching Program invites families to learn alternative strategies in safe group settings.
