H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship Campaign Priorities
“The Huizenga College of Business master’s program helped prepare me for the real world of business. It was a fantastic education because you had the chance to learn from faculty who all had real business experience themselves, and you got to learn from their successes. The time I spent in the M.B.A. program with the faculty and students gave me the well-rounded education that I needed to achieve that same level of success.” —Andrew Koenig, M.B.A. Operations, City Furniture Class of 2007 “NSU provided me the opportunity to work, raise my daughter—I was a single parent at the time—and to get my doctorate. That was priceless. It was a no-brainer for me to give back to the next person who may be in a similar situation.” —Gale Allen, D.B.A. Deputy Chief Scientist, NASA Class of 2007 “As the author of seven books, and over 70 articles on marketing strategy and customer value, I have had the pleasure of sharing my research insights with outstanding undergraduate and M.B.A. students, as well as business leaders, in South Florida and throughout the U.S. As a faculty member at NSU for over 22 years, I am honored to work with a great team of professionals. I look forward to further enhancing our marketing and business programs at HCBE.” —Art Weinstein Professor and Chair of Marketing HUIZENGA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP VOICES Executives and Entrepreneurs in Residence Program The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, through its Executives and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EEiR) program, provides its business students with opportunities to engage with accomplished executives and entrepreneurs from the business community. “Students learn about real world business situations by informally meeting with me one-to-one. Conversely, I learn about their aspirations to build a better world—or at least a better mousetrap. Mentoring truly is a two-way street.” —Steven J.
