NSU College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Class of 2011 Serves as president of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity Chapter at University of California—Berkeley, where she is a doctor of optometry candidate. “Doing atmospheric research in Barbados as an Honors student, I appreciated the process that scientists go through. My faculty mentor at NSU also encouraged me to face new challenges. [Since then] I helped organize a mission to Nicaragua.
