36 21st-Century Education | $50 Million Institute for Integrative Medicine With support, this institute will become a platform for holistic, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches to wellness and improved quality of life through education, clinical care, and research. Pulling from all health professions, it will focus on such topics as nutrition, supplements, spiritual health, acupuncture, meditation, chiropractic, art therapy, pain management, and preventive care. Children’s Institute The institute hopes to consolidate all services benefiting children—including child psychology, pediatrics, child trauma care, autism treatment, and learning disabilities treatment— on campus while also establishing a clinic location where children will benefit from translational medicine. Autism Services NSU is committed to autism research, treatment, and support. NSU provides a number of assessment, intervention, education, enrichment, and outreach services—multiple disciplines working together to tackle autism and help children with autism on many fronts. Partnerships with the Dan Marino Foundation, Broward County’s Public Library System, and the University of Miami extend our reach even further. There is so much more we hope to do with increased funding.
