NSU's Overall Case Statement | Realizing Potential Campaign

35 Clinical Services NSU’s clinics give our students firsthand experience with patients. Our clinics stay busy, with more than 250,000 annual patient visits in such specialties as medicine, psychology, dentistry, optometry, physical and occupational therapy, community resolution, and audiology. Additionally, our law students provide more than 26,000 hours of pro- bono legal services annually through 8 clinics that assist the underserved. NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law also created South Florida’s first Veterans Law Clinic. Online and Continuing Education With increased funding, NSU can offer more to students with limited access to a first-class education, by improving their experience with online virtual lab facilities, enhancing video conferencing, and augmenting blended in-person learning opportunities. Enhanced STEM Programming at NSU University School In recent years, NSU University School, our private junior kindergarten–grade 12 college preparatory program, has built successful high school programs for robotics and mathematics. With additional professional and program development, NSU University School can further expand its STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education for all students, beginning in early childhood.
