HPD RESEARCH GRANT RECIPIENTS Four HE-D.P.T. faculty members along with four D.P.T. faculty members from Fort Lauderdale partic- ipated in an educational research study entitled “Where Does the Time Go? AWork Sampling Study Comparing Faculty Activities in Traditional and Hy- brid D.P.T. Programs.” The study was awarded an NSU Health Professions Division (HPD) Educa- tional Research Grant in January 2012. The principal investigator was Dr. Kathleen Rockefeller and the co-investigators were Drs. Mary Blackinton, Lance Cherry, Melissa Lazinski, and Keiba Shaw. PT • TAMPA PT-TAMPA Campus Life Faculty Research HE-D.P.T. faculty and staff members showcased their Shark Pride at the Tampa SEC’s Shark Spirit Day, representing more than half of the Shark fin. The Tampa CHCS welcomed the incoming classes for Anesthesiologist Assistant, Cardiovascular Sonography, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy during the May 19-20, 2012, orientation weekend.
