12 | Physician Assistant Program Prospective students are selected on a rolling admissions basis. The Committee on Admissions considers the overall qualities of the applicant. Areas of consideration include • interpersonal skills • personal motivation • knowledge and understanding of the PA profession • academic performance and level of achievement • life experiences • quality and length of prior health care experience • recommendations/evaluations Personal interviews are offered to the most qualified applicants to assess interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, integrity, altruistic attitude, and commitment to a PA career. Requirements for all applicants (unless specifically stated) include 1. minimum GPA standards for your application to be reviewed • a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale • a minimum science GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale 2. completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college of univer- sity, prior to matriculation (A baccalaureate degree in any field of study is acceptable, if all prerequisites are met.) 3. earned grade of C (2.0) or better in each of the following required courses (Science prerequisites must be completed by the end of the fall semester prior to matriculation and prior to being invited for a personal interview.)
