Since 1999, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has been offering world-class educational programs in the Tampa Bay Area. From nursing to education to health care sciences, NSU has been providing students with an edge, so when they graduate, they are not only ready to enter the workplace, they are prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow. Now, thanks to the generosity of the Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation, those efforts are being taken to the next level. In 2017, the foundation provided NSU with philanthropic gifts and financial commit- ments totaling approximately $225 million. This included a $150-million real estate and facility investment that resulted in the university’s new Tampa Bay Regional Campus location in Clearwater, Florida. This more than 300,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will continue to be the home of the university’s existing educational programs, but will also include an additional site for the university’s Dr. Kiran C.
