Students must also follow the requests and requirements of the clinical facilities and must maintain compliance throughout the program. Eligibility for Florida R.N. Licensure and Required Disclosure During enrollment in the semester in which a student is scheduled to complete all of the program requirements, the student is responsible for applying for graduation and to the Florida (or other state) Board of Nursing to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The application to the Florida Board of Nursing’s contracted vendor (Pearsonvue) for testing is also the responsibility of the student. Students will be required to successfully complete one or more diagnostic exams that measure the readiness to successfully complete the NCLEX-RN examination. Students will also take a review course in NUR 4180 for the NCLEX-RN examination prior to receiving the final course grade in the Accelerated B.S.N./B.S.N. programs. The ACON is proud of our Upsilon Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.
