In accordance with this Carnegie Foundation classification, students are afforded opportunities to engage in collaborative teaching/learning/scholarship activities that enhance the well-being of the community and strengthen student civic commitment and academic learning. In this academically enriched environment, NSU’s students, at all degree levels, continue to excel in a variety of capacities, including their performance on state and national licensing examinations, where applicable. The university is committed to enhancing student performance, expanding student engagement in the life of the university community, and retaining students through the successful completion of the course of study.
