The Nova Southeastern University Brand | 57 THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY BRAND / IDENTITY A hallmark is a distinguishing characteristic or feature typical of a person, place or thing. These sample images depict a few things the area surrounding NSU is known for: sun, sand, blue skies, palm trees, and the ocean. The image of the water (opposite page) is a hallmark of Nova Southeastern University. It evokes feelings associated with the beauty of NSU’s tropical setting and projects an aspirational quality in the way the sun rays filter through uncertain depths. This image can be situationally applied to serve as a secondary element on branded materials, most often as a background. IMAGERY / HALLMARKS
