The Nova Southeastern University Brand | 51 The Sharks full body graphic is a secondary graphic of the Athletics Department of Nova Southeastern University. It is not to be used in place of the Sharks logo or wordmark. Never flip the shark horizontally or redraw the shark. The use of this logo is typically as a stand-alone representation of the team’s identity. It should not be combined with other elements, however, it can be juxtaposed next to other graphic elements. Most often it would appear in the following applications: 1 on all athletics media guides and official publications of the athletics department 2 as a separate art element in promotional materials where the NSU brand is clearly represented 3 on sports team gear (e.g., NSU team baseball caps, chest emblems on softball jerseys and golf shirts, etc.) 4 on the athletics Web site 5 on university vehicle graphics or decals 6 on legal documents 7 on signage in specified areas ATHLETIC LOGO / SHARK MASCOT THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY BRAND / IDENTITY Full Color 2-Color All Black White Reserve Gray Scale All Blue The Sharks wordmark represents the Athletics Department of Nova Southeastern University. This logo should never be used in place of the NSU logo. The Sharks wordmark should not be juxtaposed with either of the Sharks logo. The Sharks wordmark is made up of two colors, black and Pantone® color PMS 285 (top). The alternative color usage (middle) is PMS 429 and white. The Sharks wordmark is a registered mark of Nova Southeastern University and includes the registered trademark symbol (®) whenever the wordmark is used in the following circumstances: 1 on all athletics media guides and official publications of the athletics department 2 on the second appearance in promotional materials and school spirit gear (e.g., the back of a notebook with the same logo on the cover) 3 on the athletics Web site 4 on university vehicle graphics and decals 5 on legal documents 6 on informational materials (e.g., NSU Fact Book , catalogs, and handbooks) 7 on signage in specified areas (stadium or field) 8 in advertisements 9 on specific official team uniforms ATHLETIC LOGO / WORDMARK Reverse Full Color All Black Grayscale
