The Nova Southeastern University Brand | 49 THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY BRAND / IDENTITY The NSU mascot logo represents the Athletic Department at Nova Southeastern University. The official nickname of all teams that represent the university in varsity competition is the Sharks. The official mascot is the Mako Shark, Razor . The logos, nicknames, and caricature of the Department of Athletics are for the use of NSU athletics only. Special permission to use the athletics logos, nicknames and caricature by internal university entities may be granted by contacting the sports information director for Intercollegiate Athletics at (330) 672-2110. Requests by external entities for trademark licensing of NSU athletics imagery should be directed to our licensing company, LRG, at (330) 672-2982.
