64 COLLEGE OF PHARMACY NAMED FOR BARRY AND JUDY SILVERMAN NSU recently renamed its College of Pharmacy the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy. More than 300 attendees turned out for the unveiling of the college signage, including university administrators, Board of Trustees members, and a host of students and faculty and staff members. Barry J. Silverman, M.D., NSU Board of Trustees vice chair, and his wife made a transformational gift to the university, with the goal of enhancing the growth and continued impact of NSU’s pharmacy program not only at the university’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus, but also at its Palm Beach and San Juan, Puerto Rico, campuses.
