57 Signature Event NSU Celebration of Excellence Joel Hochberg (posthumously) and Albert J. Miniaci, NSU Board of Trustees member, were honored at the 25th Celebration of Excellence gala on at the Rick Case Arena in the Don Taft University Center. Hochberg and Miniaci received NSU’s President’s Award for Excellence in Community Service for their significant contributions to South Florida, including NSU’s Hochberg-Miniaci Razor’s Edge Scholars Program—the duo’s visionary brainchild that equips students with leadership skills and a marketable portfolio of achievements. Hochberg and Miniaci join an impressive list of honorees that includes Winifred and Joseph C. Amaturo, Alligator Ron and Ali Bergeron, Rick and Rita Case, James and Cathy Donnelly, Guy Harvey, Mike Jackson, and Lorraine Thomas.
