T he recently renovated Simulation Lab at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine ushers in a new era of advanced technology and equipment. Located on the CDM’s second floor, the Simulation Lab features 130 ergonomically correct work stations. The new manikins give a greater range of head movements to simulate a real patient. Each station has a computer, as well as an LED monitor and an LED dental light. In addition, the new units form 36 circles of three or four units, which incorporate a smaller NSU COLLEGE OF DENTAL MEDICINE x 25 Opposite page:The Simulation Lab features 130 ergonomically correct work stations.
