Violations of academic responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following: • plagiarism • any form of cheating • conspiracy to commit academic dishonesty • misrepresentation • bribery in an attempt to gain an academic advantage • forging or altering documents or credentials • knowingly furnishing false information to the institution Institutional Review Board (IRB) NSU encourages the conduct of research in and among its colleges and centers, and in collaboration with other educational institutions, agencies, and organizations. While respecting the right of faculty to full academic freedom in research, the university is firmly committed to adhering to basic ethical principles underlying the acceptable conduct of research involving human subjects.
