Placement at a site (hospital, clinic or office), where a potential conflict of interest exists, will be at the discretion of the associate dean of Clinical Education. 2. Student Grades Students matriculating in the fall of 2018 and thereafter will receive letter grades on their transcript. Students matriculating prior to the fall of 2018 will receive percentage grades on their transcript. Transcript designations may include, but are not limited to, the following: Percentage Range 95–100% 90–94% 87–89% 83–86% 80–82% 75–79% 70–74% Under 70% Letter Grade A AB+ B BC+ C F Quality Points 4.00 3.75 3.50 3.00 2.75 2.50 2.00 0.00 PH Pass with Honors P Pass F Fail IP In Progress W Withdrawal WP Withdrawal Passing WF Withdrawal Failing RP R emedial Pass of a Preclinical Pass/Fail Course (starting with students matriculating in fall 2020) C(E) Remedial Pass of a Preclinical-Letter Graded Course Numerical Grades (0–100) For students matriculating prior to fall of 2018, most M1 and M2 courses are graded on a scale of 0 to 100, where 70 or above is passing and below 70 is failing. Alpha Grades (A–F) Students matriculating in the fall of 2018 and after will receive letter grades on a scale from A to F, where C or above is passing and below C is failing.
