Mission Statement The mission of the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine is to provide learner-centered education, both nationally and internationally, for osteopathic medical students, postgraduate trainees, physicians, and other professionals. Through its interprofessional programs in a diverse and inclusive environment, the college prepares competent and compassionate lifelong learners; supports research, scholarly activity, and community service. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Handbook is available at osteopathic.nova.edu/publications. The online version is always considered the most up-to-date version of the handbook. Changes in the content of the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Handbook may be made at any time, by the university, division, or college administration. Adequate notice of anticipated changes will be given to the student, whenever possible. The Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Handbook supersedes all previous Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine student handbooks, documents, and directives where they may be in conflict. The Dr. Kiran C.
