LEO GOODWIN SR. RESIDENCE HALL Leo Goodwin Sr. Residence Hall is the perfect place to create your first college memories. This residence hall is where Shark Pride begins because it primarily houses freshmen with 0–30 credits. Each room is built for double or triple occupancy. The room features a private bathroom, large closet space, and high ceilings. Moreover, each room is furnished with two or three beds, two desks, two desk chairs, two dressers, and a built- in storage/counter facility. Rooms are not furnished with refrigerators or microwaves, and students are expected to bring their own. The building has amenities such as a recreation room, access to computers in the lobby, study lounges on each floor, laundry facilities, a common kitchen on the first floor, and a large TV lounge. Leo Goodwin Sr. Residence Hall has limited availability, and residents are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT Nova Southeastern University requires all undergraduate day stu- dents with 0–48 credit hours to live on campus unless one or more of the following criteria applies: • you are married or in a domestic partnership • you reside with a parent or legal guardian within the tricounty area (Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties) • you are a veteran or active United States military personnel If you meet one of the above criteria and choose on-campus housing, you must honor the entire term of the housing contract.
