12 | M.D. Program FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS FINANCIAL AID NSU’s Office of Student Financial Assistance has everything you need to apply for financial aid. Our office administers federal, state, and university financial aid programs such as grants, loans, and scholarships. SCHOLARSHIPS The NSU MD Scholarship Committee allocates scholarships based on a holistic approach. We strongly suggest you promptly submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa . All scholarships are based on available funds. Health Professions Division Chancellor’s Scholarship • in-state NSU MD students • full- and/or partial-tuition scholarship Silverman Foundation Patel MD College Scholarship • currently enrolled and/or accepted for enrollment in NSU MD • must complete FAFSA for the academic year • based on financial need • award amount varies Steven and Rosemary Kircher Scholarship • currently enrolled and/or accepted for enrollment in NSU MD • good academic standing as defined by program office • must complete FAFSA for the academic year • based on financial need • one-time award (award amount varies) Changing Lives MD College Scholarship • currently enrolled and/or accepted for enrollment to NSU MD • must complete FAFSA for the academic year • based on financial need • award amount varies
