3 Dining Alternatives A continental breakfast will be available at the Disney Contemporary Resort Monday through Thursday from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. Continental breakfast will not be available at the Disney Polynesian , the Disney Grand Floridian , or the Disney Coronado Springs Resorts. The Disney Contemporary Resort offers a variety of restaurants from quick service to full meals in a range of price categories. The selection includes Chef Mickey’s (character dining), The Wave … of American Flavors, Contempo Cafe (quick service), Outer Rim, and The Sand Bar (poolside). Your Contemporary Resort keycard can be used to charge your meals at all Disney hotels in the area. The Disney Polynesian Resort offers many dining choices, including ‘Ohana (character dining), Captain Cook’s (quick service), Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Kona Café, Tambu Lounge, and the Barefoot Pool Bar (poolside). Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers a variety of dining options for guests including Victoria and Albert’s (table service), Citrico’s (table service), Narcoossee’s (table service), Grand Floridian Café (table service), 1900 Park Fare (character dining), Gasparilla Island Grill (quick service), Mizner’s Lounge (lounge), Beaches Pool Bar and Grill (pool bar) and Courtyard Pool Bar (pool bar). The Disney Coronado Springs Resort has several options for dining, including Café Rix (quick service), Laguna Bar (lakeside lounge), Maya Grill, Pepper Market (quick service), and Siestas Cantina (pool bar). Facility Use Requirements Consistent with our concern for the environment and the health of others, this will be a non-smoking conference. Please do not smoke at any conference event. Smoking is prohibited inmost public areas of the Disney Contemporary Resort. Food and beverages, except bottled water, are prohibited and are not to be carried to and consumed in workshops and meeting rooms at the Disney Contemporary Resort. During breakfast and lunch periods, special areas are designated for consuming food and beverages. Once the door has been closed and a workshop session has begun, kindly respect others by turning off all cell phones. FSE Shark Shop Stop by the NSU merchandise display Sunday through Thursday at the Disney Contemporary Resort’s East Registration area to purchase a memento of your 2013 summer conference experience. Show off your NSU pride to friends and colleagues back home with a custom designed shirt, cap, coffee mug, or other items to celebrate your visit to Orlando. Hotel Safety Tips • Do not answer your hotel-room door without verifying the person’s identity. If a person claims to be an employee, call the front desk and ask if someone from the staff is supposed to have access to your room and, if so, for what purpose. • When returning to your hotel late in the evening, be aware of your surroundings, stay in well-lit areas, and use the main entrance of the hotel.
