2 Part One: Conference Announcements GENERAL INFORMATION Certificate of Attendance A certificate of attendance will be available for all attendees and will be sent via email to all attendees after the conference ends. Children in Sessions Due to liability issues, children are not allowed to accompany students to classrooms, workshop sessions, or any conference-sponsored activities, nor can they be in the building unsupervised. Their presence may be a distraction to you and your fellow students, so please be considerate and arrange to have appropriate care for them while you are attending conference sessions. Conference Attendance Attendance at all conference sessions and events is mandatory. Conference/Hotel Contact Information The phone number for the Disney Contemporary Resort is (407) 824-1000 (ask for the West Registration desk). The phone number for the Disney Polynesian Resort is (407) 824-2000, the Disney Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is (407) 824-3000, and Disney Coronado Springs Resort is (407) 939-1000. There are no conference activities at the Polynesian, Coronado Springs , or Grand Floridian Resorts, so call the Contemporary Resort (West Registration) for anything related to the summer conference. Conference Office and Information Desk Attendees should use the message board outside the West Registration area and conference office for general questions and information regarding the conference. Messages and changes to the sessions will be posted on the message board adjacent to the West Registration area. Conference attendees also may use the message board to post notes and communicate with other conference attendees. Unless there is an emergency, messages will not be delivered personally. The hours of operation for the conference office are as follows: Sunday 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Wednesday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Thursday 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Tuesday 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Connecting Educators through Social Media FSE’s social media presence is continuously expanding on Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook. Our fan engagement through these social networks is attributed to a variety of campaigns created to support FSE students’ success as educators, future administrators, and inspiring leaders. Students are encouraged to “like” the Abraham S. Fischler Facebook fan page at www.Facebook.com/FischlerEdu . Students will have access to Fischler news updates, as well as have the opportunity to enter to win various prizes in our summer conference campaign. A campaign has been created for summer conference students to enter to win one of two Kindle Fire HD tablets.
