Pharm.D. students focus on patient-centered care and disease-state management while receiving realworld training from expert faculty members and preceptors in the field. Experiential sites in a variety of interprofessional settings provide training in community, hospital, and specialized pharmacy settings. Travel study, medical outreach trips, health fairs, internships, and research and development expand active learning outside the classroom. NSU’s Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences program students conduct transformative research alongside faculty members in molecular medicine and pharmacogenomics, drug development (pharmaceutics), and social and administrative pharmacy. For a role in a changing healthcare environment or preparation for NSU’s internationally known Pharm.D. Entry-Level, Pharm.D. Advanced-Standing, or M.S. Pharmaceutical Affairs M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences Pharm.D. Pharmacy Ph.D. Pharmaceutical Sciences Concurrent Degrees Pharm.D./M.B.A. Pharm.D./M.P.H. Pharm.D./M.S. in Health Informatics Ph.D./M.B.A. Ph.D. programs, the university also offers an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Affairs and an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Eligible students can also pursue specialized Pharm.D. elective concentrations or a concurrent master’s degree in business administration, public health, or health informatics.
