The School Counseling concentration of the M.S. in Counseling degree program is approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. In addition, the program holds national recognition by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). n The Specialist (Psy.S.) program in School Psychology is approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. In addition, the program holds national recognition by the National Association of School Psychologists. n The Doctoral (Psy.D.) program in School Psychology holds the designation of full accreditation status by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). The program is also accredited by the American Psychological Association (see paragraph below for additional information). n The Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs in Clinical Psychology, Psy.D. Program in School Psychology, South Florida Consortium Internship Program (SFCIP), and Psychology Services Center (PSC) Internship Program are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). n NSU’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medi- cine is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine. n Nova Southeastern University’s Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition has been granted Candidacy for Accreditation by ACEND as a Didactic Program in Dietetics and may enroll students under this status. Students on premises and enrolled in the approved program will be considered graduates of an accredited program upon successful completion of the full program. As of June 2023, the program was reviewed for full accreditation and is pending a final board decision. n The Bachelor Science in Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH). n The Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Master of Science and Ph.D. degree programs in Couple and Family Therapy are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). n Master of Science in Health Informatics is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). n NSU’s Master of Science in Nutrition, Professional Practice Concentration, is granted full accredi- tation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) as a Future Graduate Program through December 31, 2029. Graduates of this designated track will be eligible candidates for the Commission on Dietetic Registration. n The Master of Public Health Program is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH). n The Cardiovascular Sonography program at NSU’s Tampa Bay Regional Campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT), in both Adult Echocardiography and noninvasive Vascular Sonography.
