Moreover, student organizations provide outreach locally within the South Florida community, as well as internationally in locations such as South Africa and Central and South America. Department of Athletics The NSU Department of Athletics, its student-athletes, staff members, and administrators participate and partner with various community groups to provide support to those in need, fulfilling the philosophy of being an NCAA Division II member institution as well as one of the fundamental core values of the university.
