72 Academic Programs Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in early childhood, family studies, and autism, MSC offers a variety of academic courses for undergraduate and graduate students, in collaboration with colleges across the university. Courses are presented in a variety of modalities including on-site, distance technology, and online. Child Advocacy and Community Outreach The Mailman Segal Center is committed to providing community outreach services and plays an integral role in shaping policies that support the health and well-being of children and their families. Activities within Broward County’s underserved communities are dedicated to extending the center’s programs, including child care center development, literacy, early childhood training, and parent education. The Mailman Segal Center works intensively with child care centers, providing accreditation support, individualized training, and parent education.
