98 M ore than 172,000 people claim Nova Southeastern University as their alma mater. These graduates reside in all 50 states and in more than 100 other countries. Many alumni are in high-level positions in areas such as business, education, health care, law, politics, and public service. NSU graduates have served as presidents, chief executive officers, and vice presidents of leading corporations; college presidents and provosts; superintendents and assistant superintendents in some of the nation’s largest school districts; and as judges, state bar officials, state representatives, city and county commissioners, and mayors. Degrees Awarded From 2010–2011 through 2014–2015, NSU has awarded between 7,129 and 8,175 degrees annually (Figure 13). NSU has increased the number of doctoral degrees awarded by 7 percent during this time (Figure 14).
